One more desktop that does not efficiently use screen real estate to give you a clear picture of what's going on. Does it come up as fast as KDE which is to say 10 times slower than FVWM. FVWM is fast and clearly shows what's up. home.earthlink.net for eye catching screens. Or is that screens catching eyes???? home.earthlink.net showin what's up. Can you drag apps betwix desks with the mouse. FVWM does it. It's great for composing mail. Open mail window and drag it to window with info to cut and paste. I think it's silly to have icons on the desktop as they just get covered over and then you forget em or you search everywhare for them. I don't bother closing windows, I just spread em out. Labeling desks to assign functions helps in keeping track of what's up. Tom Watson tosiwme.
