CMG Information Systems (CMGI) - CMGI surged 10.75 Monday and jumped
7.63 to 141 Tuesday on strong volume. CMGI has rocketed 18.37 on the
week. Tuesday CMGI shot up as high as 155.34 intraday, forming a double
top on the chart. The double top tells us that resistance is strong at
that level. Wait for a break over its highs at 155.34 before getting
back in, or play it as a pure momentum play while you are staring at
the screen with your finger on the trigger. A look back to August 7
will show what happens when CMGI failed to break through resistance at
a double top on the chart. It tumbled from near its highs at the time
of 90 to as low as 34.50. It took until November 27 before it saw 90
again. CMGI has mild support near the 108 level. We are looking for a
possible split announcement along with CMGI's earnings, which are due
out March 11th, after the bell.
