Actually in this panicked market I think you are right

They probably thought the after the close announcement was related to an earnings pre-announce. It turned out to be an acquisition. The stock then jumped in aftermarket (if one poster here is to be believed)

Next hurdle is the employment figures.

I heard Murphy on CNBC and he certainly was blunt about the panic atmosphere. He has certainly done his homework on Intel's customers.

I didn't listen to Fleck. I would like to know how Fleck's firm does, in the same way I was interested in the reports of how Cramer's hedge fund did. (my favorite short right now is NOT INTC!)

Once the bond market finds its direction tomorrow there may be some hope of a real recovery in INTC. If they then sell off the next recovery I will be very unhappy. (That's how Bear markets feel.)

Not there yet.

I think Engel is becoming bearish. I even detect the guilty postings of a long time Intel fanatic secretly selling his stock in a panic.
