The competition just keeps getting more and more interesting. How much free stuff do I have time to bother with today? And the competition has just started to wake up. Wait until after the Y2K thing is out of the way - then we will START to see some real competition on the Internet. With the recognition of increased competition,nutty valuations like Amazon's will likely become a thing of the past. It will be interesting to look back two years from now and recall how crazy the Internet mania had become.
