Eric, Good report- more fiber means more bandwidth for long haul transport of voice and data - which means more traffic. I think that wireless transmission will grow too, except that local government opposition to installing those big relay towers may delay wireless a bit. My guess is that wireless may start to buy old relay towers in place and upgrade them to expand wireless service. Now tie that in with xDSL upgrades of the last mile of twisted wire, and the combination of the above should help to provide a good market for telcomm equipment suppliers...
