Well, I guess that was in interesing article,
maybe even worth the 75 cents...but I did not
learn too much. Did find out that SNP's are
also called "snip", as in snip maps.

The whole thing about big pharma setting
this up because they fear biotech getting
too much control, well they can sell that
crap somewhere else--leave it to the Europeans
to be leading the charge. I say fight it out
and let the best company hoard all the data
it can find...and besides, it is not as if
these licensing fees have been outrageous,
seems to me bioinformatics companies have
been selling their data cheap up til now.

Was surprised and a bit disappointed Curagen did
not get mentioned, but then part of the reason I
did not renew my subscription to the WSJ is that
they always seem to list the big players, and
I'm sick to death of the big cap mentality.

For what it's worth, here is an old post of mine,
the only thing that has changed since I wrote it
is that I passed on GLGC and did buy that CRGN.

Message 7253765
my chit chat might not be too interesting...but there
are two urls in there from a Dr. Goodhybe that are a good
read.

Any thoughts appreciated. Especially if anybody has
a guess as to why crgn held up okay today, while it
looks as though some institutional investor decided
to bail out of glgc.
