Paul,

Had you asked them how many customers that bought AMD machines called back to exchange them for Intel, the answer would most likely be "ZIPPO" also. Intel is a better managed company with superior process and manufacturing. Its been proven over and over. But at the current market caps, current industry trends AMD IMO has a better risk/reward ratio. The question for me is not which company is better, answer to that is (at least should be) obvious. The question is which one is a better investment INTC or AMD. My answer is AMD.

Paul, I am familiar with historical performances of both stocks (heck you post it every other day :)) I know about the many disappointments and the many "this time it will be different"'s. I just think this time it will be different.
