and the potential for whole foods to kick netgrocer's butt with a superior cost structure? Do you think any players will cooperate with amazon (or even get an investment like drugstore.com did) anytime soon? I think Whole Foods is well positioned - yuppies often visit quaint little specialty shops or simply eat out to get fresh food. Whole Foods will certainly be able to grow more quickly than ppod although the two aren't really direct competitors.
