I have seen numerous companies with 60% to 80% domination of their niche market where the stocks totally collapsed, either slowly or quickly. During the decline, many asked: Why?, How can this be happening?, and other denials.

Three to twelve months later they find out. They got whipped by smaller co's with newer and better technologies. Some rebounded due to their own prowess of developing new technologies and their awareness of where the technology is shifting. Others went belly up or were bought out at ridiculously low valuation.

We are in technology revolution period. Those who cannot or do not see the trends in technology and what are under developments ready for the marketplace, will end up with the rotten eggs.
