Daniel:OT No, but from time to time people think I am one--even the real lawyers--when the topics of copyright, slander, liable come up. This is because I know more about the law on a few, key points than most people out of necessity rather than some quirkish interest in the law. This is because I am owner of a listserv list and have been since the Bitnet days [pre-internet]. To keep subscribers (who make the postings), my university (home of the list), and myself (as owner) out of legal trouble, it was important to know certain thing. Not that often, but occasionally I do have to get a subscriber out of "hot water" (threat of a suit). So far, all have been for copyright violations with news services. Lynn
