bearshark,

There was a period in late 1997 that went on like this for weeks, actually
even longer then todays sideways correction.

I forget what the News Arena was like then but the end result was a
climb from 7400 to 9310 and finally the Asia internatonal currency
problems broke over the markets and Greenspan stepped up for the
Home Run.

It is a tighter coil today, but liquidity ruled then and also today.
Significant news - Bad News is required to alter this reality. Even
with a sharp 8-10% correction the buyers would be there.

On the side of a Big Kahuna Sell-Off
Cycles are a reliable and persistant part of our lives....patterns
we find consistant today will change shortly. >>>Chuckle<<< I expect
any significant Bad News will apply powerful selling pressures to this
market. Similar to what we saw in Mid 1998 at 9300 when everything was
given back in a couple of weeks.

BTW....Europe and there ECU have not been tested yet. Germany's need
for an interest rate cut maybe the first test of the monetary union.
Also....Banananananana's seem inportant for some reason?

Also....have you ever done any work with DMI?
Have A Good Day
