IPVoice IP Telephony Network ExpansionScheduled March 5, 1999 09:32 AM LITTLETON, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 1999--IPVoice today announced that it has scheduled the expansion of its network to Los Angeles, California.
This gateway installation represents an important location for IPVoice. The LA site will be used as the jumping off point for IPVoice's network into and out of the Pacific Rim market. This site will also be used for IPVoice's domestic IP Telephony services by providing additional bandwidth and switching capabilities for the entire network.
The Los Angeles gateway site is scheduled for delivery during the week of 3/8/99. Installation of the TrueConnect gateway and testing of the network shall begin immediately after that. Once the site has been thoroughly tested for performance, capacity, and network quality, the location will be activated for service on IPVoice's network.
This installation is part of IPVoice's worldwide deployment of network services and TrueConnect Gateways. Additionally, further network expansion enhances IPVoice's abilities to compete with other companies within the industry such as: Inter-Tel (INTL), VocalTec (VOCLF), USATalks.Com (USAT), GTC Telecom (GTCC)
To support IPVoice's TrueConnect gateways, IPVC has developed proprietary support products in the areas of order entry, billing, customer service, agent management and a switching network management system.
