I would not say ISDN is dead yet. It is going to be several years before either fiber or *DSL based communications is widespread. ISDN is still the choice for many corporations going to the internet. Proteon is not going to base its entire remote access product on ISDN anyway. I look for some new products coming out this spring that will give customers flexibility in the product choices by probably providing plug-in modules that can be easily upgraded. Proteon (OpenRoute) has indicated that this is the direction they will go in future products. I think PTON will improve as the year progresses.
