LOL! But you have the secret weapon - *guilt*! I have discovered how powerful it is, when I am in pain, I say, "you have to wash the dishes, I hurt too much and your father won't be home for two hours, and I can't make supper until the dishes are washed" (don't use a dishwasher - not ecological, wastes water). "Please carry in the grocery bags, my shoulders hurt." "You have to take the dog for a walk, my knees are swollen." You get the picture. They are johnny-on-the-spot. The raking, though, that's going to be a tough one. At least eighty, maybe 100 bags of oak leaves out there, every fall, and these haven't been touched.
Does anyone know if there is a machine that will eat the leaves up and bag them or something? I am willing to cough up serious bucks if need be. |
