Yes, I have used both off and on for about a year, and I would vote for QCharts hands-down.
Comparing apples to apples (realtime quotes option with NASDAQ Level II quotes), QCharts costs a little more, but its well worth it. There are too many details to go into, but suffice it to say that the interaction with and customization of the user interface makes QCharts fit anyone's needs.
As one small example, all windows can be linked together, so if you click on a stock in a hot list, then it immediately shows you the chart, the news, the time and sales window, the level II for the stock -- And each of these respective windows are FULLY customizable (columns to include, fonts, colors, etc.) and your session can be saved in as many workspaces as you need.
The ONLY downside to QCharts is that the connection seems to go down for a few seconds(minutes) periodically, but this could be my connection. QCharts does have several servers around the country so that if one does go down, it automatically switches you to another.
BTW, QCharts is offering a free trial at their site
Hope this helps a little... |
