Shareholder lawsuits are worthless.

In most cases, no money is recovered.

If any money is recovered, the lawyers will get 95% of it.

If a company goes bankrupt, there will be no money left to recover. The companies all indemnify their managers, allowing them to blatantly lie, cheat, and steal with impunity.

Shareholder lawsuits only help short sellers, and lawyers.
