T, If you had some TU-160's in a vacant lot, just waiting to turn into compost, wouldn't you look to make a deal? This deal shows that the Russians are willing to gamble, but also keep in mind that the market for 1980's-vintage Soviet bombers is not a large one.

I think it's great news, but the technical hurdles are staggering, and competition will be ferocious by the time PIC gets the kinks worked out. What is of more immediate significance is the "quiet period" regarding the as-yet-unnamed telco. This could have a very immediate effect on the share price, assuming we're not being spun or strung along again.

For a good look at the other side of the argument, see stockdetective.com's commentary on PLFM. RB posters have called PLFM a scam, using that commentary as fuel. You may not agree, but the points are valid. My own DD has also turned up very negative analysis of PLFM's orbital-launch program, saying the supersonic release of the rocket portion is an extremely difficult problem (see ref. Kaplan and article posted here previously.)

I'm long on this science-fiction story, but everyone should be aware of the track record of the company and the many obstacles PLFM will face in realizing its potential.

All the best,
M.
