Well, you are right but not the first to come up with the momentum critique. Look at the opening salvo of this thread.

CNBC will continue in this vein because it is obviously good for ratings to hype stocks that a lot of daytraders own.

But hey, the commercials are better lately. The inexpensive spot with two twins talking about how trading is like sex is very cool. Much better than that damn neofascist expensive First Union crap.
