Glenn, I made (what was for me at the time) a lot of money on CompuServe - I worked for them, too and they did well for quite a while. I delibrately included companies that no longer are leaders. It was clear when these companies started having problems, and you had plenty of time to get out. I think a better point than being first, is to use the Gorilla Game model of the tornado. If you dig deep, almost none of these companies were really 1st, esp AMZN. What they are all, though, are the first to ride the tornado in their area of speciality. THAT is what makes them so formidable. Tom
