Andre,
If you have the cert and your brokerage statements -- you should be able to get that back. BUT when you sell, you sell. If the stock is held at a broker's in street name in a state where EUTO is registered, SUCH AS NEW YORK, for example -- nothing can be done. YOU MUST TAKE DELIVERY OF THE CERTS.
