The word people understand best is "FREE". If you want to build traffic and, I'm convinced, that's where the real money will be made on the Internet, it has to be simple and free. Ebay doesn't charge a membership that I know of and they have 80,000 things a day put up for sale (and sell 40,000) by individuals. I know Onsale doesn't charge any membership fees and you can get great prices there too. You can get to shopping from Yahoo without paying any membership fees. It doesn't cost any membership fees to buy at Amazon... and so on. I think E4L outsmarted itself with the membership business plan. BWDIK. Good luck with it.
