Terry, CC just posted a similar though this morning on CIS about expecting companies to release news exactly when the shareholders expect it (to the minute it would seem). It is to them that I say "re-evaluate your position".

...

We have a deadline in April sometime, but to expect up to the minute progress reports is not only ridiculus, it is determental to the shareholder interest by taking managment away from "getting the job done." I could give many more examples of delays in technological advancement but will refrain.

Hey, John! When are you going to stop beating up on me for being disappointed that materially-significant news is found out by a phone call instead of a press release? It turns out that the delay is good instead of just being an unexplained delay, but it's therefore a perfect example of why this type of news must be disseminated completely and accurately via press release instead of incompletely and fuzzily by word of mouth, that is, rumor. This is not the same thing as asking for a press release detailing which holes were drilled today.

How long have they known they were going to delay the test? Long enough that the board considered the lab's request, decided to agree with it, ordered new equipment, and notified BD that they would have to wait, which means probably a matter of days. Do you agree that a rumor that IPMCF is delaying or postponing starting the BD test would be concerning without knowing the reason behind it? Is it "ridiculous" to ask for a press release somewhere in the long process above for this materially-significant news? (Notice I'm not asking for the PR immediately, that is "to the minute", after the decision, just before it gets spread word of mouth.) I suppose that you don't think that some of the sell-off was possibly due to rumor and may not have occurred with a timely news release, do you. I guess that if I were still accumulating stock I, too, would be happy with needless and avoidable volatility, but being fully invested in the portion I allocated to this stock I no longer am.

I've already said I don't believe it's a scam. I already said that I've been pointing others to it. Hell, I wish I had a larger portfolio so that I could justify allocating more money to this one.

When are you going to let up? I'm already sorry I bothered to express a feeling of disappointment. I guess the message is that if you don't toe the party line 100% you better keep your mouth shut or be subjected to ridicule.
