Lee, your AMAT buy signal looks pretty good!

Actually on a stock like AMAT I prefer to buy on the knockdown instead of waiting for technical confirmation. I hear that there is a Morgan Stanley semi conference next week, so perhaps the big boys loaded up on the sector during the recent tank. The conference is only an aside, I await the btb for the semi equip makers which will be released during options expiry week. Would like to see the core semi equipment makers clear out the strikes at the top of their ranges.
