G'day all - I am new & trying to do some research on MTIC. I actually bumped in a piece of old news about MTIC wanting a 20% stake of Caldera and got intrigued. After parsing thru a few of the interchanges you folks posted. MTIC is low on cash but has a steady stream of patent royalty from EMC. Please elaborate! TIA. Liquidity, or the lack thereof, is a slayer of small caps for the past number of years, so if MTIC is cash strapped, this move can be very risky - brilliant, but very risky nonetheless.

The next question is how business? Its trailing p/e looks good, but why then it couldn't fund expansion by internally generated cashflow?

Finally, since Mr Noorda is on BoD, what gives? If memory serves, didn't he bankroll Caldera?

Sorry if these were asked many times before, but any information is greatly appreciated. Thx again

best, Bosco
