I spoke with Mr. Rost at 7AM this morning. He called just as I was walking out the door, so I was not as organized with my questions as I would of liked. In fact I am reading these notes off the kids cereal box as it was all I could find. My secretary looked at me kind of funny when I carried it into the office this morning.
I asked him about the news releases and he said there would be one on Monday and several throughout the week. I pressed him on the Monday release and he said that it would involve an announcement about internet infomercials. At least one of the other NRs will be about the test kiosk at the Day's Inn.
I asked him about the float. He said that there were 62 million OS and he thought the working float was around 15-20 million now. I asked him about the lawsuit and he said they were day to day on reaching a settlement and that he did not expect it to go to court. I told him that 6 million was the figure I had heard and he reminded me that that was the suit amount and there would be punitive damages on top of that. He said the lawsuit would have a "huge" impact on the stock. I asked how much and he said at least .10! I also asked him about SEC and he said they were ready to go when asked, but probably would not complete it until early summer.
I asked him if there were other things to interest the shareholders and he taled about the kiosks saying that getting sites was not a problem and they expected good revenue from each kiosk. At that point, I had to rush to work.
As I drove to work, I felt pleased with owning this company. However, I do think that we are not going to have that explosive run to $3 next week. However, I think that by summer, all shareholders will be satisfied.
