Ron,

One good thing about Vivus is that the manipulators are running out of shares to "give away" just to keep the price depressed. With 5.8M shares still held short you can bet there still will be a rather strong agenda not to be rolled over in a buying frenzy of Vivus stock.

With such thin volume it has not taken much to drop the share price by a significant percentage over the past 4 days. The same will hold true on the up side. We all know that an announcement of licensing of Spain and France are just around the corner along with a well planned MUSE launch by what will be the third largest pharmaceutical company in the world. China approval also expected in the near future not to mention other positives.

I guess the Street just hates Wilson so much that fair value etc.. does not matter. I wish Wilson would just accept the reality of the situation and be man enough to STEP DOWN and allow a competent leader to run this company. I think his ego is so large that he would rather see the stock price linger in the 2's than to accept that he has failed miserably in his job as CEO of Vivus. Obviosly he doesn't care about what the individual investors want or think and is ignoring the fact that we individual investors are holding 75% of Vivus stock. If he wanted to do what is NECESSARY and EXPECTED to increase market value of Vivus then he should graciously RESIGN and let someone else do the job that he hasn't been able to do for the past 15 months.

All Vivus investors would be doing themselves a great favor if they would write or e-mail Leland Wilson expressing your feelings regarding this matter.
