Mohan- Dell was ALREADY selling many of the products on GIGABUYS...sure, the concept has been refined, expanded, and clarified...and this will help no doubt...5% of total revenue may be possible (in a year)...but, we are not really coming from $0 here... Price competition is going to be brutal...doesnt look like Dell has built a really unique advantage yet...but I agree that these are easy sales (low investment), so why not pick them up.. Interesting that Compaq paid $200 million for Shopping.com...I'm sure Dell has spent far less than 1/10 in setting up there site...Could Compaq not have created rather than bought a lot cheaper? (Granted, shopping.com sells more than computerware, but still 200m was quite a bit..)
