mike..u r so naive this is how it works lets say "john doe" agrees to buy 8M shares of SALV john doe is not stupid..he says u sell them to me at $1 even 1.25 is fine john doe shorts SALV against the box everyone expect the small investor knows this oppps..john doe has finished shorting all his 8M price goes to fair value level ie 1/2-3/4 level john doe covers his short....good 30% who wins ??? SALV got the $$$ ....john doe got his MMs made some..juggling the price can u guess who lost ????
