A continuing theme on this thread is the question of when Jensen will release definitive news--such as a record of successful commercial sales. We should realize that if Jensen is smart, he has good reason to stall in releasing such news. Stalling will help maximize the longer run value of the company.

Global's value is not just a matter of the precious metals on its land, but of its technological leadership in refining. Once someone is clearly successful in refining AZ sand, there will be a tremendous effort by others to imitate that success, as well as a landbuying rush. If there's lots of valuable sand out there, it could be enough to depress prices for Pt and other metals.

For Global to go public with success before it's completely ready to
scale up production--with a debugged refining technology and finance in hand--would be like Intel releasing a prototype chip for imitators to try to clone before it is ready to produce that chip in volume.
Intel would never do such a thing. Nor should Global. There's money to be made by maximizing the output Global can produce and sell before imitators can get into the act. Stalling on news could just be good
profit-maximizing economics.
