Mark,
How many times does the same information have to be posted. If you've found some useful insights from Doug, bullish or bearish, congratulations. I find his posts to be an utter waste of bandwidth.
From Briefing on the Conference Call...
Newbridge Networks Corp. (NN) 25 9/16 +3/4: Merrill Lynch maintains near and long-term "accumulate" ratings on designer and manufacturer of networking products after hosting a conference call with President Alan Lutz; believes market share in the ATM WAN market is climbing and relationship with Siemens remains strong despite press reports; company plans to introduce its faster ATM switch and higher-speed interfaces later this year, to be followed by an even faster switch in the first quarter of 2000; company expects to be shipping 50 Gbs switches with OC-48 interfaces by this summer, make it competitive with Ascend, and plans to ship a 320 Gbs switch by Q1 of next year.....
Re the doubling:
I've already posted the historical numbers.
I've already posted the belief that the incubation period for ATM is over, the early adopters and the evaluators have done their thing, that the rapid growth and acceptance phase for ATM is underway. It started last quarter and is continuing this quarter.
If you choose to believe anonymous, mathematically challenged doug who is unable to correctly count up to 3 years growth when pulling together a table, that's also your choice.
I believe I'll do better by listening to Alan Lutz then to doug or peppe.
Much better.
You however, have normally added value.
Ian.
