New York-Based Agency to Donate Services to
International Philanthropic Awards Program
Ericsson today announced the addition of New York-based, K2
Design, Inc. as a Web development partner in the Ericsson Internet
Community Award (ERICA), the first-ever international competition
designed to help non-profit organizations realize the power of the
Internet.
K2 Design, Inc. is a full-service interactive agency that
specializes in interactive brand management for leading consumer and
business to business marketers. Prominent clients include Standard &
Poor's, Lexis-Nexis, Business Week Online and Sony Online
Entertainment.
K2 joins a list of prominent Web developers from the U.S., Europe
and Asia donating services to be awarded in the competition. The
program is seeking new and creative ideas for technology applications
from non-profit organizations that take advantage of the
community-building power of the Internet. The winning projects will
then be awarded Web development services and funding to turn them into
a reality.

The winners share a $250,000 prize fund divided between cash and
in-kind Web development services. Winners will be announced at an
event in New York on June 3. Since its launch on January 11, the ERICA
program has received more than 200 entries from not-for-profit
organizations worldwide.
