OT Bonjour Paul, Made it to Paris and chose to live a little more affordably at a nice hotel near the Champs Elysees called the Hotel Madeleine Palace. thanks for the george cinq advice though. that seems like a 'hopping' street. Bought both a plug adapter and phone adapter and a travel store and had no problem getting on the Internet from my room with them! The people here didn't know what i needed at all. It is costing me about 8 bucks an hours though, which is a bit expensive. France Telecom needs to change their ways because a lot of the reason people don't have Internet connections is because it is costly andnot easy. This will change, just as surely as we will get faster and faster PCs. ;-) I took humble carls advice and got a lot of good info at the paris.com site. thanks carl! bonsoir, pigboy in paris
