How do you know that Web St. had no shares? Do they notify you?
I have started using them recently and I do not get notified if they don't have shares.
I have found orders cnacelled not by me, but with no explanation.
Also their order status sceen is always wrong. Orders placed are not there and orders cancelled still sit there.
They are also rude on the phone, and ignorant! I was told originally that all short sales had to be "approved" by a broker. While making arrangements over the phone to close my account a second operator "asked around" anf found that untrue. Geeeeesh!
Unfortunately they have much better fills than Datek so I stay for now.
