and as most of you know, I F&^%ing HATE windows with a passion. No, HATE is too mild of a word.

But the Thinkpad feels right, and is built like a brick. If I have to drink cold gravy, I will only consider a Thinkpad cup.

You are right- IBM desktops will need to position their products out of Dell's way. What else is new, except it is now official? Dell's crap ain't that great that nobody can compete with them on any front. It will require that IBM Desktops and Portables keep their dancing shoes on- something they have been doing much better at lately.
