mark..re:ibm...new direction...analysts...

disagree with the thought of abandoning wintel platforms...what does he suggest another attempt at apple/macs...think his read is wrong...dell abandons wintel and i exit the stock...to drastic of a choice...trying to create a new franchise which would go against present philosophy....not good to tie so strongly to one concept...don't think they are struggling like other oem's...taking market share from ibm...

i think it will play out with ibm quietly exiting the consumer pc business and allowing dell by default to take their business customer base...ibm still supplying components and doing service...much more profitable parts of their business...think ibm is the "needy" partner seeing dell gaining ground....venture will hurt cpq,gtw,hp....unisys,
