Nevertheless, if I want to end the day tuesday with an additional shares of BTIM, I have a choice: 1) Buy 100 shares in the market at 16 11/16. 2) Buy 20 rts at 3/8 = 7.5, plus 9.75 = 17 1/4 and hope to be able to exercise an overallotment option. You clearly think the overallotment option is worth more than the current difference of .4375. Fine, but how do you arrive at that value?
