Richard, Stop being so angry with me, and re-read my question! That anger gets in your way.

What I'm simply asking is if you folks felt that the traditional values for MACD -- 12,26,9 -- are still considered 'standard.'

I'm aware of how to formulate alternative MACDs. But you will agree that the standard MSWin MACD function does *not* allow for the inputting of different values, which I found to be curious, and possibly significant.

Now, can I infer from your post that indeed you feel that 12,26,9 are no longer the 'standard' for MACD, that times and trading conditions have in fact changed these past years, and that alternative values today are called for?

Am I correct in inferring that from your post? Yes or No?

And, as usual, thanks for your help on this.
