EDGAR S8 FILING Last Nite
AVID filed to issue 1,500,000 shares, shows up to premium subscribers service, takes about 3 days to hit news wires and regular EDGAR Basic service. To be used to fund the Emoployee stock option Plan. Tried to post this earlier, system timed out, I thought it had posted, just checked and found it didn't.
Remember that Avid had purchased around 2 million shares last Oct. when its warning was very misinterpreted and later rebounded. This will put 45 mil back (less the cost of funding the options exercise) in the til, have no idea what price the options are awarded at, but that amount gets charged against the 45 mil. Doubt anyone should be alarmed by this, Analysts were recently guided that Avid had to replenish the plan so it should already be in the Estimates. hope this helps. |
