I was thinking everything west of Denver. I spent two summers on a yacht as a lad. Nylon was much nicer, especially when it had to be coiled just so. I had some manilla barge rope for a while, it was very resistant to rot, guess it would have given away with no warning. I think the polyproplene is a good rope. Doesn't stretch as much as the nylon. Shit, you need tie ups and shock ropes, guess you need both.
