I can't remember the number of trades they average a day (although the January numbers were supposedly up 25% over the previous month), but they report that they have just under 600,000 accounts (and expect to add another million in the next 12-18 months). The Street.com, however, reported several months ago that they viewed EGRP's account numbers as being artificially inflated, and that a reasonable amount of them were essentially non-active accounts. Reading this caused me to sell half my stake, 1000 shares (pre-split) at around 15, which cost me about $75,000 had I hung on to them...

Sometimes you can outsmart yourself in this business.
