3/5/99: G&K INDEX RISES TO 109.10, A 3.36% INCREASE FOR THE DAY! Even more astonishing, all 19 components of the Index advanced today. AMAT took top honors rising 4 1/8 or 7.2%. It was followed closely by the new partnership in the computer sector, IBM and Dell, who rose 5.5% and 5.1%, respectively. Dell split 2:1 at the end of the day, so if you look at the Index on Monday and they appear to have tanked, remind me to adjust the cost basis and shares. otoh, I better do that Sunday, since I join the workforce again on Monday. Chaz, you got great responses from LindyBill and Tony Viola, and we all learned something as a result. So please keep asking questions. I, too, am grateful for the insights that our threadmates share so willingly. Frank
