The slide is reflecting concerns that Y2K will cause a dramatic slowdown in spending for Unicenter. This concern that has probably been fed by the recognition that BMCS's client/server revenue growth has not been as high as some apparently thought.

BTW, the major ERP vendors are not really in direct competition with CA.
