XYBR is one of my favorite story stocks...but a tough nut to crack on TA. XYBR has been hitting on a volume scan quite often the last week, which drew me back into some analysis. The charts over the last 6-7 months, however, have been exhibiting weakness through lower tops and bottoms; similar to the price action.

Many oscillators have found a fresh higher bottom on the turns up this week, but not pronounced enough to make me jump on some shares. Next week should tell the tale..whether it goes soft again or finally does break out. From a friend I hear maybe a Barron's article hyped on Yahoo? I'll have to go grab on this morning...:o)

On the TA upside, the Accumulation/Distirbution (AD) trends have been running up solidly. It's easy to see why w/a color coded volume chart, as all of the biggest volume days finished w/price advances. Also positive is the Bostian's, which is pointing to a possible pivotal bullish crossover for Monday. Perhaps the best buy signal I can see is the MACD(9); you can find the MACD on a number of free interactive charting sites, like iqc.com & bigcharts.com. MACD has crossed up and is looking to cross up through zero; more dramatically than in the recent past. Usually a very good double whammy.

Something's brewing. Whether it is just hype, tangible progress, or recognition through public press, remains to be seen.

Hope this helps. I will be following XYBR daily again for a while. safest bet appears to be a buy limit somewhere over 5 1/2, that'll kick in on a bona fide breakout.
