Agree with your comments on the convert deal. Have not looked at it too closely but virtually all of these things allow the issuing company to redeem them. Problem is ABTX needs cash to do that. Since they are throwing off any cash from operations they will either need to convince someone to loan them more money to buy back the convert or they will need to raise money via asset sales to do it.

As far as the 100,000 insider purchase goes....can't tell you how many times I've seen insider buying in stocks that where headed to $1 (BOST is one relatively recent example that comes to mind.)
