Well said Joe and also Tom. You wonder how people can even comprehend and actually do these things. They are full of fear and ignorance. People that live in small towns do not get contact with different types of people, which makes them ignorant of different lifestyles and cultures and fearful. Joe is right, something in the culture is fostering this hatred and playing on this fear and ignorance and it has to be stopped. My prayers go out to the family. The campaign by the "religious" right has not helped and could be partly responsible. Anyone who is outraged should let THEM know how they feel. Imagine, picking on Tinky Winky!!!! Have a great weekend!!
