But look at what is really happening on this so called revolution. Is it really going to be so profitable for companies or totally suck price premiums for some items. Think about it. The ebays and Amazons etc. will they be around in their present form in 10yrs. Some day when all countries are on the net and trade barriers are lowered, you might have some 3rd world country selling stuff direct to the consumer bypassing all these middlemen. Really, the only need for middlemen are distribution. 1/2 of the equation is there already with the farming out of cheap labor overseas. Now the second round is elimination of the go betweens. Also, look at the recent press release on Yhoo possibly charging subscription fees to user. Beginning of a new age or realization that the net profit model(or lack of) is changing. Really interesting times ahead if you look at the big picture. Good luck to you and excuse my typing it is early and havent had my coffee yet.
