Mayo - We generally use Business Wire. If Comtex gets a feed from BW, we distribute to them. Otherwise, we do not directly send news to Comtex.
You are absolutely correct that BW will print anything. They are a 'commercial wire service'. If you pay they print. Which is the point I was trying to make. The 'news wires', Dow Jones, AP, Reuters, etc., maintain absolute editorial control over what they distribute. They do so, by applying editorial judgement regarding the 'news worthiness' of a story. They also happen to control the traditional news distribution channel. Our most effective distributions occur, when we achieve maximum exposure across both the 'on-line' audience (Internet folks) and the 'off-line' audience (people who rely on print, and Qutrons). To attempt to compensate for the 'news blackout' that is imposed by the major wires, DWEB decided to be more agressive in its use of the Internet as a 'new media' outlet.
DWEB IR is the official voice of DWEB. In fact DWEB IR is the Investor Relations Department of DynamicWeb Enterprises, Inc.
Additionally, this is not an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy DynamicWeb securities. For additional information, see the Company's periodic SEC filings which can be found at www.sec.gov (edgar data base).
