Happy Saturday dot com pals. I've been asked by a few stealth readers where they can find "Making a Million in Internets". Being lazy I've been telling people it is on "Techride". Very helpful oh Lazy One.
Making a Million in Internets is in four short parts (this stuff is that simple).
Part I : post #126
Part II: post #142
Part III: post # 194
Part IV : post #241
Although these post just scratch the surface of the world of internet trading, they bring out major points to be remembered. However, one thing I didn't find in the posts but, have said many times, is another internet rule.
Never short an internet stock while they are running. I know we talked about this before in one of the past post. Many of us saw an example of how to get yourself killed shorting internets when you don't understand internet stocks. This happened several months ago.
It happened in a pretend portfolio on an AOL board. This guy shorted eBAY when it was running hard, and then he turned around and shorted it again (because he was getting killed on the first short). Thinking eBAY "had" to come down, he added insult to injury. Internets don't have to do anything. And this guy who trading "regular" stocks for many years learned that internet stocks have their own rules, like don't invest or trade in them if you don't know what you are doing. The old rules don't work with the new stocks.
The house as I type, has about a hundred elk walking around it but they are mostly cows and their young. If the bulls (which stay in their own gang) show up it will be a sure sign that the market will run on Monday. As always input will also be taken from the Yellow Dogs and other proven market indicators.
