Gaps usually means increased activity ( not the small 1/8 kind). This shows up by putting CCI(13) over 200 in an overbought condition. This on average last 1-3 days. you sell when CCI(13) crosses back down thru 200. you should look for a bounce around the 0 line to test the previous high in a trending stock.

If the gap didn't result in a large increase in CCI measure, it might reflect lesser strenght.
