for a little added spice...

If you do a little more DD you will find that a critical component of the Turbo charger is a little thing called a Charge Air Cooler (CAC). It cools the air partly to limit NOX.
Currently, CAC technology is limited to current engine designs and it is admitted by the largest manufactures of these devices that the durability of the product is not good. If engine designers proceed with higher compressions, etc. the CAC will become much less reliable and, again an admission, they have no replacement technology. This is not acceptable at all.

However, Turbodyne's technology permits the engine designers to go with lower compression engines allowing these existing technologies an extended life. This is another reason for AS to implement this technology post haste. For all those unbelievers, check it out if you don't believe me.
